I'm often asked why my
standards for men are set so high. Well, it's because I have a Daddy,
brothers, uncles, and even a grandfather who have set an excellent
example for me. They not only taught me how I was supposed to be
treated, they SHOWED me as well. They've modeled the way since I was a
young girl. From opening doors, to pulling out chairs, taking care of
the bill even when I insisted on paying
myself, being emotionally available for me, and being my comfort in
times of need. Always being courteous and complete gentlemen. I mean
honestly, would you settle for anything less after receiving that kind
of treatment? ....yeah, me neither. And I'm teaching my nieces to have
the same standards. And teaching my nephew how to meet them.

Quote of the Moment
"Had a great convo about relationships earlier and realized that some people should remain single for however long God would have them rather than jumping from relationship to relationship until they are really truly ready to move on. We can reverse the unhealthy cycle of bad relationships by just being patient and learning from the past. Otherwise, we run the risk of making the same mistakes over and over again."

Quote of the Moment
"Singles: STOP asking, 'What's wrong with ME?' "Why am I still single?' There is NOTHING WRONG with you. Why my fellow married people ask you about marriage, politely ask them, 'Are you with your SOULmate or ROOMmate?' 'Is that a WEDDING ring or a SUFFERing?' STOP placing your WORTH on relationship status. WE ALL HAVE VALUE!"

Quote of the Moment
"In order to live victoriously as singles, we must get to the place where we live contentedly, without expecting our circumstances to change. It is in our living for today, as the day presents itself, that we become healthy, whole individuals, satisfied women who would be blessings in the lives of real men."
